Victor Osimhen leaves Napoli and signs with Galatasaray until 2029.
An agreement between the two clubs has been reached for a transfer fee of €75 million. This is a record sum for the Lions, who have already registered the arrival of Leroy Sane this summer.
Payable in instalments (an immediate €40 million and two further payments of €17.5 million to be settled in 2026), the deal also includes an ‘anti-Italy’ clause preventing Cimbom from selling the 26-year-old striker to an Italian club before 2027. If this condition is breached, Galatasaray would face a heavy penalty, which would double Osimhen’s price. A 10% interest in any future resale is also included in the deal.
Already loaned to the reigning Turkish champions last season, the Nigerian had a great season, scoring a whopping 26 goals in 30 Super Lig matches to finish as top scorer. With 41 appearances in all competitions, the Lagos native ended the season with 37 goals and eight assists.
