Speaking to the press on Tuesday morning, Liam Rosenior has announced his departure from Strasbourg. At 41, the Englishman he has been inducted as the new coach of Chelsea, succeeding Enzo Maresca, who was relieved of his duties on 1st January.

Manager of Hull City between 2022 and 2024, Rosenior joined Strasbourg 18 months ago and signed a four-year contract. At the end of his first full season in eastern France, the former Fulham player managed to qualify Les Bleus for the UEFA Conference League, finishing in 7th place in Ligue 1.
This season, after 17 games, Strasbourg rank 7th in the league and sit atop the Conference League group stage.
