This Wednesday 16th July marks a turning point in the summer for Ligue 1 clubs. A month after the official opening of the mercato, everyone is trying to fine-tune their squads, with one month to go before the start of the 2025-26 season.

While some clubs, such as AS Monaco, have made big moves, with the notable arrivals of Eric Dier, Ansu Fati and Paul Pogba, others, such as Olympique Lyonnais, whose presence in the top flight was recently confirmed, are taking longer to get going.
