Without naming him, Thierry Henry nevertheless spoke about the future coach of France.

“We all know who the new coach will be. You know it and I know it,” said the 51-time goalscorer for Les Bleus during an online press conference organised by CBS, for whom he works as a consultant.

Asked about the possibility of him succeeding Didier Deschamps at the helm of the two-time World Cup winners after the 2026 tournament, Henry was under no illusions and wished ‘the best’ to the man tipped to take over the job. A certain Zinedine Zidane.
